Eric Davis Game Used Signed Autographed Cleats Cincinnati Reds (1988) JSA

You are looking at a pair of Eric Davis game used autographed (JSA authenticated) cleats from his days with the Cincinnati Reds circa 1988. Cleats show amazing game use with wear, dirt and scuffs on the bottom of the cleats, wear on the insoles and even Davis' #44 on the underside of the tongue and on the the insoles. I got Eric to sign one cleat during Spring Training in Plant City, FL in about 1991 or 1992. He exited the players' parking lot after a practice in his red Ford Mustang and stopped at the gate to sign autographs.

He took my cleat and really spent time looking it over before he signed it. I recently had the signature authenticated by James Spence and the sticker is on the sole of the cleat with the accompanying COA card. Thus, some of the traces of red dye you see on the white foam near the shoe's bottom and on the square Nike patch on the tongue. The white/cream vinyl around the tops of the cleats are starting to show some age.

But otherwise the cleats are an incredible slice of Reds history. Cleats have been stored for 32 years in a room free of natural light. Additionally, as an added bonus, I will include a set of Eric Davis (Star 88) baseball cards in which he is depicted in several of the card images wearing this exact style of cleat.
